Celebrate Chinese New Year with Soup Restaurant’s auspicious new dishes
Known for their heart-warming, comforting food that remind us of the flavours we grew up with, Soup Restaurant’s authentic dishes have consistently given us joyful experiences and never failed to satisfy the hungry foodie in all of us.
Coming right up to Chinese New Year 2023, they’ve unveiled brand new dishes as part of their CNY-exclusive set menus. Fit for an intimate 2-pax date, all the way up to a 10-pax celebration, Soup Restaurant showcases a perfect marriage of traditional flavours and modern tastes, serving up six new dishes to welcome the Year of the Rabbit.
As with any Lunar New Year gathering, toss to a prosperous year ahead with a quintessential Baby Abalone & Salmon Yusheng with Soup Restaurant’s very own citrus sauce, made in-house from fresh mandarin oranges and plums.
Then enjoy an innovative pen cai with the Abalone Collagen Treasure Pot with Cordyceps Flower, brimming with premium ingredients such as 10-head abalones, sea cucumber, fish maw, and roasted pork. With the addition of cordyceps flowers, they infuse a hint of light sweetness so diners get to enjoy a refreshing take this year.
Warm and nourishing, the Double Boiled Golden Chanterelle Mushroom & Dried Scallop in Chicken Soup is prepared for over 4 hours to extract the nutrients and flavours of its specially sourced mushrooms.
For your carb staple, there’s the new Double Happiness Sweet Potato Steamed Rice with Chinese Sausage featuring the natural sweetness of both purple and golden sweet potatoes, then topped with pine nuts for that extra crunch. Complementing it is the Yuzu Pork Chop, an uplifting dish with yuzu’s auspicious symbolism and fruity notes.
Bringing the meal to a wholesome end is the light and fragrant Osmanthus Citrus Jelly, as well as exquisitely crafted Bounty Bunnies that accompany the brand’s handmade Mini Longevity Buns.
