Find adorable bakes and artisanal treats at the world’s first CATBAKE outlet
There’s just something about Japanese craftsmanship that has captivated us over and over again. Perhaps it’s their passion and dedication, attention to the smallest intricacies, and endless pursuit of perfection that have allowed their artisans to take over our senses as they present marvellous works of creativity and brilliance.
Finally arriving on our shores from the Land of the Rising Sun, their wildly popular Neko Neko Shokupan debuts in Singapore with a whole new identity.
Brought to us by the creator of the renowned cat-themed bread himself, pâtissier-cum-chef Shinya Tajima opens the world’s first CATBAKE outlet here, where fans and pastry lovers are promised a ball of a time with their wide variety of baked goods and other fancy treats.
Bringing the cat theme to another level, look forward to a range of breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts that employ adorable motifs executed with such charming finesse that would appeal to both cat-lovers and casual diners alike.
Signatures at the new bakery-café include perennial classics like the Croque Monsieur, with a Japanese touch to it, an unassuming Cat Cheesecake that’s actually made up of two decadent cheesecake layers, and a Cat Chocolate Cake available in original and dark chocolate flavours.
Located at The Star Vista, other highlights that diners should go for include their delicious Cat French Toast, with aromatic vanilla and cinnamon notes, and Caramel Banana Danish. For a more indulgent treat that combats our tropical climate, pick a flavour of your choice and enjoy their Cat Toast with Gelato.
And that’s not all. Patrons at CATBAKE will also get to indulge in pieces of Hokkaido-made chocolates from CACAOCAT and chocolate ice cream from the popular Chocolate Origin.
