It’s a floral affair with Voco Orchard Singapore’s all-new Afternoon Tea menu

Bringing to life the former vibrance of our iconic Orchard Road district, voco Orchard Singapore presents an all-new Afternoon Tea menu. Brilliantly put together and crafted by their award-winning Executive Pastry Chef Edwin Leow, the new menu takes inspiration from Orchard Road’s history as the former home of fruit orchards, pepper farms, and nutmeg plantations.

With close to two decades of experience at some of Singapore’s finest hotels, Chef Edwin showcases his finesse with creations that infuse the colours and flavours of his favourite flowers, fruits, and spices into each dish on the new menu.

Amongst the stunning experience is a decadent replica of voco’s mascot – Mavis. Made from ivory chocolate mousse and cocoa sponge with a yuzu curd filling, the beautiful creation is sure to catch everyone’s attention. Not only is it delicious and IG-worthy, it perfectly fits into the open cage on which it is served on.

On the menu, foodies can look forward to indulgent savouries featuring premium produce, including the likes of Sweet Corn Veloute and Poached MSC Boston Lobster with Blue Pea Flower Dashi and Chives, Foie Gras Mousse on a Cacao Tart with a Cherry and Hibiscus Flower Gelee and Black Truffle, MSC Blue Swimmer Crab with Green Apple, Chrysanthemum and Caviar, as well as Sakura on a Smoked Duck and Cucumber Pinwheel Sandwich.

Love your sweet treats? You’ll absolutely want to go for highlights such as their Lemon and Lavender Madeleine, fragrant Rose and Lychee Macaron, Sudachi Citrus Tart with Toasted Meringue, Ginger Orange Scones with Bitter Orange Marmalade and Clotted Cream, as well as an bright Orange-infused Bavarian with Orange Coulis, Zesty Curd and Almond Sable.

A menu of beautiful creations, another IG-worthy treat to experience into is their Opus Pot Plant, made with rich chocolate genoise sponge, sea salt caramel, zesty calamansi cremeux, and hazelnut streusel.

Completing your afternoon tea experience is a selection of TWG teas ranging from their classic loose-leaf options, to beautiful blooms in your cup with three premium flavours – Enchanted Beauty with oolong tea leaves, amaranth, and lily, Lavender Kiss with rare white tea leaves, hibiscus, and lavender, and Refreshmint, another white tea which balances mint and camellia blossoms.
