Le Matin Patisserie finds a permanent home at ION Orchard

What’s not to love about fine pastries and fancy desserts? If you’re anything like us, there can never be enough. Opening in the glamorous ION Orchard is the French-inspired Le Matin Patisserie.

Following the success of their previous incarnation as pop-ups along Paragon and Raeburn Park, their first permanent store presents a gourmet concept where fans will now get to enjoy an all-day French dining menu on top of their signature baked treats.

Brought to us by Chef-Owner Mohamed Al-Matin, a passionate Singaporean talent, Le Matin Patisserie’s ever-evolving menu of unique pastries aims to pen a new chapter in the local pastry scene.

Showcasing their biggest menu yet, brand new creations at the store include a Roasted Hay & Pecan Tart, Kombu Tart, charming Korean White Peach, and bold Sake Lees & Macadamia Choux Bun. Fans of Le Matin can look forward to enjoy returning favourites like their Almond Croissant, Pistachio & Rose Escargot, Smoked Cruffin, and Chef Al-Matin’s signature Kouign Amann.

Boasting a fresh experience, their never-before-served hot mains promise to transport diners to the streets of France with tantalising flavours from indulgent highlights such as Wagyu Brioche Feuilletée, Chutoro Brioche Feuilletée, an Ox Tongue & Bresaola Croque Monsieur, Seafood Pot Pie, and mouth-watering options of Crab, Caviar & Waffles, Smoked Beef Cheek Bahn Mi with laminated brioche, and a rich Black Truffle Scrambled Eggs Croissant.

Looking for a bigger meal over dinner? Satisfy your appetite with a Steak Tartare, featuring hand-cut raw heart of rump and Wagyu tallow, or have the Tarte Tatin de Topinambour for a meat-free option. Seafood lovers have to try their Moules Marinières with white wine-poached blue mussels and fresh Vivaneau Rogue Polé red snapper.

If their range of brilliant French dessert leaves you wondering what to go for, reach for their Fromage de vos Reves, Tarte Aux Noix de Cajou with cashew custard and nougatine, or elegant Pain Perdu.
