Spring into the Year of the Rabbit with The Capitol Kempinski Hotel

Located within our charming Civic and Cultural District, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel has quickly become a steadfast icon for luxurious experiences and bespoke hospitality in Singapore. Infusing their modern touch into the historical site they inherited, their uplifting selection of contemporary offerings promises the most exclusive urban retreat.

As Chinese New Year quickly rolls around this year, the hotel welcomes the Year of the Rabbit with an indulgent showcase of CNY specials to help us make it an unforgettable season of celebration and reunion.

Over at the hotel’s signature Asian bistro and grill restaurant, 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung presents an exquisite series of curated set menus for lunch and dinner. Highlighting classic Asian flavours with a touch of modern finesse, their 4-course Chinese New Year Set Lunch menu showcases tantalising highlights such as the Haddock Yu Sheng, Chargrilled Abalone with spiced pineapple and Spanish ham, Kurobuta Pork Shoulder, and charming Nian Gao Mochi.

With the 5-course set dinner menu, look forward to a luscious display of immaculate Razor Clam & Abalone with tamarind gel, olive caviar, and a chilli-lime emulsion, Canadian Lobster and Quail, fresh Flounder with lemongrass and coconut foie gras, and a traditional Osmanthus Soup with water chestnut, peach gum, and white fungus.

Alternatively, head over to The Atelier with your loved ones to enjoy timeless highlights such as a hearty Drunken Chicken with Sea Jelly and Smoked Duck Breast, Braised Sea Treasure and Shredded Abalone in Essence Broth, Braised Sea Cucumber with Black Moss and Chinese Mushroom, and Steamed Red Garoupa with Garlic Sauce at lunch. Their dinner menu boasts the likes of Pan-fried Foie Gras and Chilean Sea Bass with Orange and Mango, a luxurious Bird’s Nest and Dried Scallop Soup, Steamed Red Garoupa Fillet with Black Garlic Sauce, and Fried Zhenjiang Pork Prime Rib.

If you’re looking to catch up over a more casual tea session, go for the Lobby Lounge’s Bountiful Afternoon Tea experience, featuring a seasonal display of Chinese-inspired bites with a touch of European influence, including savouries like a Maine Lobster Pie Tee and Hoisin Smoked Duck Quiche, alongside sweets like the Chrysanthemum Bavarian with goji berry curd, Mandarin Orange Choux, and Honey Pineapple Tart.

For a truly unforgettable party at home, remember to grab the opulent Capitol Kempinski Signature Pen Cai and customise your very own Yu Sheng Platter from The Boutique.
