Supperman Speakeasy & Grill breathes new life to the Joo Chiat district

Dreamt up by a young and passionate team of talents from different walks of life, the understated Joo Chiat district welcomes a breath of fresh air with the new Supperman Speakeasy & Grill – an altogether cosy space for urban dwellers like us to just unwind and enjoy.

Occupying a quaint shophouse, Supperman presents appealing comfort food that’ll definitely not break the bank. Gourmands will adore the experience, with their flame-grilled Angus cuts, fine wines to pair, and unique cocktails that actually use quality spirits.

Amongst the array of delicious highlights to go for, Supperman’s Great Start kicks off an unforgettable evening with fresh char-grilled focaccia – baked in-house, no less – served with an amazingly umami beef love butter and a tasting glass of house wine to pair. Teasing your appetite further, there’s their Roma Tomato Salad made with their own ricotta cheese, Smoked Camembert with maple nectar and house-poached pear, as well as tantalising Charred Leek.

Presenting different cuts of premium Black Angus and aged Argentinian steak with creative house-made sauces by Chef de Cuisine Anthony Pangestu, beef lovers will not want to miss out on their Black Angus Ribeye Steak and Angus Top Blade, both finished on a high-flame grill to achieve that sizzling crust and juicy centre.

To pair with their signature grills, don’t miss out on their range of addictive sides, including the crispy Beef Fat Smashed Potatoes (trust us, you’ll want to try this) and Creamed baby Spinach, topped with a coddled egg for that extra creaminess.

In the mood for something else? Go for seafood options like their perfectly charred Open-fire Crayfish. Served with a delicious lemon and butter sauce, foodies will definitely be equally satisfied. Then end your evening off with the new Cherries Jubilee Chocolate Cake, a decadent spectacle served with vanilla bean ice cream, finished with a Dom Bénédictine table-side flambé.

It wouldn’t be a Supperman experience without a taste of their curated tipples. Meticulously put together by Chef Dini Lee, go for Signature Cocktails like the Don Vanilla and quirky Shoddy Man’s Balls for a drink unlike others and a night to remember.
