Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop presents comfort dining amongst lush greenery
Iconic homegrown fried chicken brand Tenderbest welcome foodies to another family-friendly Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop in Sengkang Riverside Park. Home to Singapore’s largest man-made wetland, the park is known for its many fruit trees and vast greenery.
The 110-seater restaurant features an indoor area with floor-to-ceiling views of the lush environment. Their sheltered al fresco dining area spots an industrial-grade ceiling fan to keep diners cool during their visit.
At the fresh outlet, fans and foodies can look out for new creations such as the Half-Half Pizza, a 10-inch delight where diners can choose any 2 of the menu’s pizza flavours. The 6 Pcs Trio Cheese Sticks is an indulgent cheesy treat, coming in flavours of Truffle, Garlic Pepper, and Pizzeria, all paired with a special blend of Chilli Lime dip.
Only available at the new outlet, pick from their all-day breakfast Sedap Lemak series. We highly recommend a delicious and hearty serving of Crispy Chicken Wings Sedap Lemak.
There’s also the all-time favourite Smoked Salmon & Eggs Benedict, as well as a Brekkie Laksa cooked from scratch using the brand’s very own recipe.
The outlet will continue to feature cheesecakes from the local Cat & The Fiddle – fans of durian will not want to miss out on the rich King of Mountain cake.
The restaurant’s freshly made Belgian waffles with Ice Cream boast batter that is both less sweet and still produces that delicious golden crust.
While there, keep an eye out for the old-school bicycle ice-cream cart, where you’ll be able to grab yourself classic Potong ice-creams and Ice-cream cups in a wide variety of flavours.
