The InterContinental Singapore launches a limited-time whimsical afternoon tea
Located perfectly along one of our most bustling districts, the InterContinental Singapore launches an enchanting limited-time experience not to be missed this season. Available from now till Jun 30, their new Whimsical Afternoon Tea takes heed from the hotel’s overwhelmingly successful Easter Big Brunch event, where their three main dining outlets came together to craft an altogether unique experience.
Head over The Lobby Lounge and escape the city’s hustle bustle. Spruced up with wonderland decorations to take your senses on a journey through a magical world, the vibrant and imaginative Whimsical Afternoon Tea showcases 3 tiers of charming sweets and eccentric savoury delights.
Amongst their whimsical confections, look out for the familiar Cheschire, a baked frangipane tartlet decorated with stripes of rosella jam and blueberry cremeux, Poison Mushroom, a carrot cake on an adorable chocolate pot base filled with cassis marmalade and creamy yoghurt mousse, and catchy Chess Checkers with coffee-flavoured almond Joconde sponge, topped with delicate pieces of a chocolate checkerboard.
Need more to satisfy your sweet tooth? There’s also the beautiful Ace of Heart, a blushing heart-shaped pastry with flavours of citrus, coconut, and mango-passionfruit, and The Clock, a refreshing macaron with calamansi lime and salted sour plum.
